About Your Plant Starts
Grown in integrity, with so much love, & with big dreams of getting the beauty, magic, & medicine of plants back in every backyard, in your potted porch gardens, & at your easy reach for every day use & enjoyment.
The exact mix will be determined when we see how well germination goes. We’re aiming for a varied mix of at least 1-3 each of 6-7 different healthy, robust, & thriving herbs.
There will be a mix of annual & perennial herbs that will all do well planted either in ground or in pots, in full sun to part sun, & in average soil conditions.
If cared for properly, your plant starts will keep you supplied with medicine all season long & beyond.
Your plants are grown from Certified Organic seed in our greenhouse on our farm in Fairview.
We seed in soil crafted by our local soil magicians at family-owned & operated Dirtcraft Living Soils.
They’re cared for in only regenerative organic & all-natural ways. We nourish robust & healthy plants with our own home-made worm castings & compost, seaweed extract, & fish hydrolysate to ensure healthy soils rich in beneficial microbes that will also help nourish the soils in your own yard.
Each plant start comes in a 3″ pot to help ensure large & healthy roots.
Plants will be hardened off already so you can plant into your garden or pots immediately or whenever you’re ready.

We’ll email you the last week of April with your printable PDF planting & care instructions, 10-recipe eBook, & exact details of when you can either pick-up your Medicine Garden in a Box or expect its delivery.
As regenerative organic farmers, we work at the mercy of the wild whims of nature.
We grow with as much help from Mama Nature as we can get instead of relying too heavily on artificially (& often expensive!) heated spaces, artificial lighting, & other non-natural inputs.
Unpredictable temperatures this time of year make exact dates near impossible.
When the weather is stable enough, we’ll have your plant starts ready just in time to pop in the ground!
